What is Cookie Scanner?
Most of website owners have no idea what cookies are used on their website.
Every plugin can add new cookies, every script (like Google Analytics, Facebook etc.)
and most of plugins do notprovide detailed list of their cookies nor the detailed
information about each cookie.
COOKIE SCANNER WITH GDPR
With our GDPR plugin you can click "Detect Cookies" button, which will trigger a script, which will go through your entire website and check what cookies are used there and create a list of all cookies in admin panel. You can display this list with dedicated shortcode, with information like:
Type of cookie, information whether cookie is first or third party, information whether cookie is persistent or session, expiry time, purpose
You can also set the scanner as a recurring task, so the scan will be performed every week, month or quarter. This way even if you will install new plugin or add new script to the website - you can always have updated list of cookies used on the website.
